NAME: Abigail "Abbie" Hope Watkins
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 16; April 19, 1994
GRADE: 11th Grade; Junior
CLASS: Middle Class.

FAMILY: Angela & Lee Watkins - Parents. Siblings: Daniel (11), Kelly (9), Rebecca (6), Rachel (almost 1)
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual.
ACTIVITIES: Cheerleading.

APPEARANCE: Abbie is average in height, standing five feet six inches tall. She has a slender build and weighs around 115 pounds.

Her hair is naturally brown and straight. She pulls it into a messy ponytail when she's afraid it might get in the way. Most of the time, though, she allows it to hang loosely around her shoulders.

With a subscription to nearly every fashion magazine printed, her clothes usually match whatever is in style. It's not easy to get some brands in her hometown, but she combats that by shopping online. Even when indulging in some of her more masculine hobbies, she manages to appear stylish and put together.
PLAYED BY: Nina Dobrev

LIKES: fun, sports, boys, shopping, sweets, junk food, parties

DISLIKES: sitting still, reading, class, cheap clothes, sneakers

STRENGTHS: friendly, outgoing, funloving, intelligent

WEAKNESSES: selfish, tactless, impetuous, egocentric

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Abbie is friendly and very, very outgoing. She's notorious for initiating conversations with complete strangers, but that probably has a lot to do with where she grew up. After all, there weren't any strangers in the neighborhood she was raised in. Everyone knew everyone.

She's enthusiastic, charismatic, and energetic. She gets bored far too easily and can't sit in one place for very long. There are few television shows that will hold her attention and even fewer books. She would rather be outside than inside.

Abbie enjoys being the center of attention. She hates being alone and tries to surround herself with friends or family whenever possible.

She can be selfish, tactless, impetuous and egocentric. She's almost incapable of saving money. Like most girls, she can be oversensitive. Occasionally, her temper will get the best of her. Not often, though. When it does, she tries to avoid everyone as she had a tendency to be cruel when she's angry.

HISTORY: Abbie is the eldest daughter of Lee and Angela Watkins. They were loving, affectionate parents that gave their children everything they could ever need and most of the things they wanted.

As boring as it sounds, she had an uneventful childhood. Her parents were disgustingly happy together, only arguing when they disagreed on whether they should have mashed potatoes or Stove Top with dinner. They were so in love, in fact, that they created a total of five children together.

Abbie has four younger siblings. Daniel, the only boy, was born when she was five years old. She wasn't a fan of the attention given to him immediately after his birth, but he won her over the first time her Mama let her hold him. Kelly, the prissiest of the Watkins family was born when Abbie was seven. Rebecca was born three years after that. The entire family assumed that Lee and Angela had finished when five years passed without them conceiving. They were wrong, though. Rachel, the youngest of the children, was born just last November.

She started school like most children her age, quickly becoming one of the popular kids. She was fun, she was spunky, she was friendly. She was well liked by her peers and teachers. She played sports with the boys in the neighborhood, but she also got along with most of the girls. All in all, it was a happy childhood.

Abbie made quite a few close friends, but most notably there was that guy. The one who started out as just a really good friend, one of those guys you could curl up against and talk to about everything, but lately Abbie's feelings for him have been growing.

Abbie has really started to recognize what a hottie her best friend is, but she's kept that to herself. The last thing she needs is to ruin their friendship because she has too many hormones. Luckily, Arcadia has an abundance of attractive boys, and she's had little trouble keeping herself distracted.
