Annamarie stood up. Because that's what you do when meeting people. She's not that short, for a 15-year-old. But she's not that tall, either, and she certainly doesn't wear heels.
"Pleased to meet you too, Miz Frost. Momma's gone. Figured it was a 75% chance that last part was goodbye."
She was starting to talk like her othermother already.
