Picky petrol pump pickers...

Now I can fully understand that people prefer to use the pump that's on the
same side as their filler cap... I mean, I do the same.

However, I have to wonder at the people who would rather queue two or more
cars behind a pump than go to a free pump because the pump is on the "wrong"
side of the car.

The majority of petrol pumps will service either side of most cars, with
only huge cars and some independent petrol pumps being the exception.

So, if you're one of those people who would rather wait than stretch the
pipe - so to speak - then I would be really interested to know why.
