BREAKING NEWS - COUPLE FOUND BRUTALLY SLAIN
PARENTS OF ACQUITTED MURDERER AVERY, MURDERED IN BED.
 Rovenan and Isabel Avery were found just after noon today by their daughter, Vivica Sloan (18). Sloan was supposed to meet her mother for lunch, but when her mother didn't show, she went to check on her and found a most gruesome sight. They are also the parents of Aland Avery, who was recently acquitted of the McKinnon Murders. There was no Dark Mark found above the house, leading investigators to suspect it may have been vigilantes in response to the verdict in September. Evidence shows that the Avery parents were killed sometime before midnight, as they slept. No Unforgivable curses were used, but the spell residue report has not yet been released. Authorities have no leads at this point, both Sloan and Avery attended the Hogwarts Masquerade Ball last night and have alibis. Both of them refrained from commenting through their family solicitor.
