Michael Lotche, Head of the M.A.G.I.C. Investigation, was found dead in his office this morning. The thirty-one year old was discovered by the early morning cleaning crew slumped strangely across his desk, seemingly dying some time during the night. The state of the office supports that no fowl play was involved, despite the fact that officials are still working on determining what officially killed Lotche.

"It looks like his heart just gave out," a Healer, which asked to go anonymous, reported from the scene.

Records show the last person to see Lotche was a young, unidentified woman leaving his office around midnight, but she is not a suspect in the case. Nor are the Aurors considering the death a murder.

"This was not homicide, definitely," an Auror stated earlier this morning to the press. "His body just gave out."

Lotche's family has yet to determine a funeral date, despite that the Ministry affirms the family will have the body by the end of the weekend.
