Corner Conway is the first sitting Minister of Magic to own the latest in social trends, a journal that gives you instant access to old mates and colleagues (as well as that bloke you fancy from your Transfiguration class). And while Conway is by no means using his journal to find true love (nor does this reporter believe he at any point fancied a bloke from his Transfiguration class), his decision to keep ahold of it of it has raised a few eyebrows.
Some advisors worry that Conway's safety, as well as the safety of the wizarding community as a whole, could be in jeopardy because of this decision to keep his journal close at hand. But others close to Conway aren't too terribly worried. "The Minister is very smart about what he uses his journal for--obviously a former Head Auror would understand the need for a high level of security," said one Ministry official who wished to remain anonymous, "I do not doubt that Minister Conway took all things into consideration before officially accepting his post as our Minister."
No word has been given if Minister Conway still uses the journal, but this writer is sure that it is used to keep in touch with close friends and relatives and all those pesky government secrets are kept out of its leather binding.
