The Snakes Have It!
For the second year in a row, Slytherin has beaten Gryffindor in the most highly anticipated match of the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup! Gryffindor, as always, put up a tough battle, but were narrowly defeated in a 200-40 loss to Slytherin. Keeper Oscar Egg of Slytherin performed brilliantly with a perfectly executed Double Eight Loop, keeping the Gryffindors down to only four goals. Quite a feat, considering the tandem of Captain Meredin Troy and chaser Rosamund Wyndham. But let's not ignore the efforts of Gryffindor's new keeper, Daisy Hookum, who (without much help from her beaters) managed to keep the game tight.

Stay tuned next week for Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff!!
