We have a shocking news update in regards to your favorite gossip hungry quidditch team.
Montrose Magpie (not shocking at all) beater Seth Wadcock (again, not a surprise there wait for it.) has announced today that he is stepping down as Captain of the team for an undetermined amount of time. (There it is in case you didn't catch it.) That's right, the self-centered, pay attention to me Captain of the the Magpies has willing (or so he says) stepped down as Captain passing the position over to Drystan Fawcett, who is representing the team in the All-Stars game this year.
And the reason for this sudden mid-season change of command? "In light of recent events I find that it would be in best interest of both the team and myself if I were to step down as captain. This way I can spend more time focusing on my daughter and other important matters without the team suffering because my sole focus is elsewhere." quoted from his earlier press release.
Of course we wouldn't leave you hanging and not inform you of these 'recent events' and 'important matters'. Wadcock himself wouldn't reviel what was so important that he'd have to step down but we have our ways. Sources say that Wadcock's wife has finally had enough of him and his antics and has left him. (Who didn't see that one coming? Really. I have a bridge I want to sell you) Leaving him to be the sole care-giver to his illegitimate daughter. Right. That poor child. We'll see what this really turns out to be about in the upcoming months.
We have yet to get a hold of any of the other team members for comment but i'm sure we'll here their side soon enough.
As always, we love to here your take on the latest quidditchgossip news. Owl in your opinions, theories and ideas.
