In a very uncharacteristic move, though from the high amoutn of attention his personal life has been getting in the magazine circle lately, Magpies' Chaster Thomas McCormack seemed to let his usually placated temper get the best of him and began an altercation with Kestrels' Beater and Captain, Axebanger Brookstanton. McCormack seemed to want retaliation after his broom split from a bludger hit, but it was Felicia Bulstrode who sent the bludger his way---therefore leading the referees to believe that the fight was for more personal reasons than game-play.

Last week it was revealed that McCormack's engagement was broken up by an affair his ex-fiancée had with Axebanger, so tensions were high coming into the match. While Axebanger did not start the fight, he didn't hesitate in joining in (as per his usual conduct) and has been suspended for one match. McCormack will be out two matches and fined for his conduct. The Magpies went on to win the match 210 - 60, breaking a two week losing streak.
