The Catapults aren't the only team who are going through an entire face-lift! The Arrows have acquired some very big names in the game, and the latest addition to their new roster is taking the title of captain! All-star and League Champion Thomas McCormack's representatives have just announced that he will be leaving the Montrose Magpies (where he has played for the last six seasons) to captain the Appleby Arrows. "I was very humbled when they approached me," McCormack said, "And while the Magpies are always going to be in my heart, I felt it was time to move forth in my career." The All-Star Chaser will be moving to the Beater position, but this won't be too much of an adjustment for McCormack. He played Beater while on the Ravenclaw team at Hogwarts, and started off in the Beater position during his first and only season with the Kestrels. Looks like the Arrows are taking no chances this year! |
