In a last minute trade, the BALLYCASTLE BATS acquired struggling seeker BAZ COURTNEY from the CAERPHILLY CATAPULTS. While this might come as a shock to fans of the Bats as the team has been on a very hot streak, they all knew after the devastating mid-air collision that left their starting seeker SAMMY BURGOS out for the rest of the season that they'd need someone of star-caliber flying skills. While Courtney's record with the Catapults has not been the best, there are rumors that a dysfunctional locker room led to his abysmal perforamce. His record with the THUNDELARRA THUNDERERS of Australia was nearly perfect----a change of pitches might do the Aussie some good. |
