What started as a normal first day of school turned into abject horror for many parents when Death Eaters attacked the Hogwarts train at Platform 9 3/4 on September 1st just before the train was slated to leave. According to witnesses the platform was cleared by the Death Eaters through torture and wards. In a heroic effort, two wizards lost their lives.
"It was really scary," says seventh year prefect Margot Bashir, "We were trying to get all the stragglers onto the train and these dark scary people just showed up! They grabbed a first year and hurt her." Marissa Atkins, sixth year prefect was at the back of the train when the attack happened, "Two people redheads came out of nowhere. I got a look at them when they came to protect the train, I recognized Fabian from the poster I have on my wall, he protected the train while his brother came in and got the driver to go." Witnesses stated that the train managed to leave the station before fighting broke out.
The bodies of Fabian Prewett, 21 and Gideon Prewett 20, were found by aurors dispatched by the DMLE. The train arrived at the station in Hogsmeade in one piece and no students were hurt. After a quick investigation, a Death Eater, Antonin Dolohov, 19, was captured by Auror Frank Longbottom who confessed to killing both brothers. No further information has been released, but there are speculations about the Prewetts being a part of an anti-You-Know-Who group and that they were there protecting the students and died as heroes.

Fabian and Gideon are known as the brother duo playing together for the Pride of Portree until March when Gideon took a sabbatical to spend time with his family. Gideon leaves behind his wife, notable wireless personality Glenda Chittock and his one year old son, Tristan. Fabian started his professional quidditch career with the Chudley Cannons until a Death Eater attack in Greece put him on the injured list, during which he served as a professor at Hogwarts when the current DADA professor went missing. He joined the Pride with his brother in June of last year.
The brothers were predeceased by their parents, victims of a reported Death Eater attack in April. They are survived by their sister and brother-in-law, Molly and Arthur Weasley, and their six nephews, William, Charles, Percival, Frederick, George and Ronald. Services for the brothers will be kept private, but there will be a memorial at the Pride stadium on Thursday.
