Saturday's Quidditch Results
MAGPIES - 310
TORNADOES - 170

The Magpies take the first victory of this year's playoffs! A very offense heavy game, Magpies Captain Odette MacFarlan pulled her team up from behind as she grabbed the snitch at the two hour and thirteen minute mark. The Tornadoes were flying furiously and their defense was brutal; most of the Magpies were knocked by the bludgers at least twice during the match. Worn out and tired, the 'Pies still managed a playoff victory, a much needed one for the franchise.

PRIDE - 30
WASPS - 380

Two Time All-Star Ludo Bagman led the Wasps to a dominating victory over the Portree Pride with his tremendous defensive performance as lead beater. The Wasps showed no mercy against the Pride, who could barely stay on their broomsticks after the onslaught of bludgers they received. The Wasps gained momentum and soon captured the snitch to secure the victory.

Well, it seems like this playoff tournament is getting off to a rather bloody start! The Beaters are giving it all they got to defend the goals, and we here at Here's the Snitch wouldn't be surprised if the upcoming matches bring along bigger and badder injuries than the ones we've already seen. Stay tuned!
