BRAND ACCUSED OF THROWING MATCHES!

While many sources state that the lackluster performance of the CAERPHILLY CATAPULTS was the fault of former seeker BAZ COURTNEY, it seems there may be another culprit at hand! GEOFFREY BRAND has been accused by the Caerphilly management for betting against the Catapults and throwing matches to fix results! Evidence of his betrayal turned up after this weekend's win, and action is to be taken against Brand immediately, though the beater has not been seen since Friday's game.
"He's indefinitely off our roster," Caerphilly manager Gareth Sayer stated. "Once we find him, we'll deal with him."
Catapults captain CARYS PARKIN had no comment as she left the Caerphilly facilities today, causing speculation as to whether or not the team had been suspicious of Brand's poor sportsmanship. |
