His pace and his grip both shift. First, he slows for several seconds, back to long, slow thrusts, just for a change of pace and setting her up. Because a few moments after, he moves both hands to grab her wrists, giving him more purchase and leverage to shift into high gear. The former rhythmic slapping becomes a rapid-fire noise as he goes from the longer thrusts to a deep, rapid grind.
