He recommends that the Indian Army stays on a high level of alert. Captain Verma said that he believes Pakistan is trying to destabilize the area and is trying to find a target for what He calls the “jihad factory.”  “ Pakistan wants to infiltrate maximum number of people inside Kashmir. Kashmir has been very stable for last few years but now with unemployment of jihad factory in Afghanistan due to the withdrawal of Western forces their energies will be redirected. This firing is going to increase to unsettle Kashmir and it will be at multiple places to infiltrate people” Verma is quoted as saying. He made the statement that the Pakistanis moving into Kashmir will set up sleeper cells  in the area and India needs to watch the situation carefully. Army officials are monitoring the situation and troops are stepping up their security measures.
