From his perch inside the bank Robin sees the new addition do a classic gotham entrance. Except through a window and not a sky light.
First thing he notices other than the bright red mask are the guns. That's not good. He suspects he knows who this guy is but guns were never a good thing to have to deal with.
"Better give it up guys. Before he shoots off your kneecaps or worse: I get to you," a voice comes from behind the amateur robbers. He mentions the kneecaps to see if the red hood will argue and to gauge how much lethal force the other guy uses. Not to mention that by being on the other side of the criminals he hopes it'll deter him from shooting too much lest he nearly hit Robin too.
