Who: Rabastan Lestrange and Dorcas Meadows
What: Kidnapping of the swiftest kind
Where: Outside of Dorcas and Derek's flat

He'd always been quite fond of silencing charms. They made his job much easier, and it also left time for...fun.

Rabastan flickered the light of the small hallways outside of Dorcas Meadows and Derek Dobbs' flat. He knew the boy was home, he'd seen him enter earlier, but from his sources inside the ministry, Rabastan was quite aware that Dorcas wouldn't be home until a bit later. Who knew if the boy would sit around, and even if he did decide to make an exit, Rabastan would simply take care of him. It had been Meadows they told not to kill, he'd even been encouraged to make a statement out of the mudblood that she lived with.

Well---hopefully Dobbs would interrupt.

Standing in a darker shadow of the hallway, Rabastan gave a final flick toward the light and the small area fell into darkness. The silencing charms on the doors would make it nearly impossible for Dobbs or any of their neighbors to hear the impending fight, but surely they would find evidence that something had...gone wrong just outside their doors.

Maybe he'd leave a little hint for the mudblood, a clue to show exactly what he'd missed.

The fall of footsteps made Rabastan's smirk fall, but it picked up again quickly as he saw that it was indeed Meadows. Show time.

It had been quite a long night full of giggling, cuddles, and chatter, like every other night, but they had finally managed to go to sleep. However, Dorcas' eyes snapped wide open; it took nearly a week of training, but she was finally able to wake up at the slightest hint of sound. She nudged Derek awake, frowning and jerking her head slightly. It was probably nothing... but. Being taken under Moody's wing while training, she was taught that constant vigilance was a must and that everything must be checked.

She predicted that she and Derek would laugh about it five minutes later.

Derek had gone to the living room, and she approached the front door. Unlatching it, she peered outside, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up - it was dark.

She had a bad feeling about this.

She raised her wand, whispering, "Lumos."

Rabastan knew that capturing Meadows was of the utmost importance; there was no room for mistakes, no time for games, even though he had a few ideas of how to make this more...entertaining. This was the bitch that had killed Jugson and Mulciber---for such a young auror, she was a rather large thorn in the death eater's sides, and Rabastan was sure that the Dark Lord was going to have his final word with her soon enough.

As soon as her wand lit, he struck---Rabastan's lips twisted into a snarl as he sent a rather painful, silent version of diffindo at Meadows' back; a bit of internal bleeding would leave a lot of room for the Dark Lord to play with. Rabastan roughly shoved her down from the back, not minding the bit of foul play or the lack of magic used; sometimes it was just better to get physical with your prey.

"If you make one move, one sound, your beautiful Hitwizard," oh, Rabastan had done his research, "is going to suffer most pleasantly." He sneered underneath the mask, wand pointing straight at Meadows' chest as he kicked her onto her back.

It took all of Dorcas's might not to shout out, but she did flinch. It was all too quick, she couldn't even pull her wand on that son of a bitch Death Eater! She swore inwardly, gritting her teeth when she heard her endearment for Derek uttered by the cloaked man.

Yet how could she trust his word? She managed to twist free, and aimed her wand at him, intent on sending him a particularly painful curse.

A quick expelliarmus fixed the wand problem, and Rabastan snickered, twirling the slender weapon between his gloved hands.

"Has love softened you, Meadows? It's a shame---we could have used someone like you." Rabastan's own wand flicked upward, jerking the auror's body up to stand in front of him. Oh, how he reveled in this control. He wished he could have more time playing with her, teaching her lessons on how a lady should behave, but the Dark Lord wanted this job done immediately.

Instead, with a click of his tongue and a swish of his wand, Rabastan rapped Meadows' wand against the doorway before he disapparated them away. The Hitwizard would find it, he was sure, and panic---yes, yes now the chaos could begin.
