Death Rolls *drama button*
Okay, to create some excitement and tension and despair, we have borrowed the idea of Death Rolls (that's what I'm calling them right now) from the community blurred_lines at IJ, or at least their idea of it.

Big Earthquake means lots of injuries and casualties. In RP land it's easy to have your character survive the most catastrophic things without a scratch, but that's unrealistic for as big of an event as this. Here's where the fun comes in.

For the characters that are FOR SURE going to be in or around the Diagon Alley area on Friday:

1. You give your character a range of the minimum and maximum you are okay with for their injuries (people working in Diagon Alley have to have a minimum of 2, because that's what will be rattled the most)

1 - barely a scratch, rattled greatly

2 - scrapes, small bruises

3 - big bruises, gashes

4 - concussions, broken bones

5 - concussions, broken bones, internal injuries

6 - concussions, broken bones, major internal injuries, major blood loss

7 - combination of 2-6, barely functioning (RPers choice how long they are in the hospital/if they survive or not?)

8 - death (rocks fall, everyone dies)

ex. Patrick Vance, 2-8
----that means that I'm fine with Patrick getting any of the listed sets of injuries

Eliza Alderton, 1-4
----that means I'm only okay with Eliza getting hurt with the first four sets.

Tomas Booth, 4-7
----that means he's not going to escape it unharmed, but he's not going to die.

2. The mods will roll a random number generator and provide you with that number (maybe in a chat? It'll drive up the anticipation, let us know what you all think!), so that when you thread you can get to the desired result, or you can wait for a Daily Prophet post with the injury & casualty count.

3. And that's it! Comments are going to be screened for privacy and so you can handle your characters' fate without any peer pressure (peer pressure? US?!). I fully recommend discussing plot lines with other people BEFORE you decide that a '1-8' range is okay for your character. This is a big decision that you need to be ready for!

If you have any NPCs you'd like killed (lol) as in parents or siblings or something like that, include that in your comment!

Ask questions here or IM one of the mods!

I want to push people up to 8's, but D: There are some I can't kill off because of future plot, and I ALMOST did it to Sidney and Ioan lmfao but then I was wondering if I sprung that on Cristina if she might hurt me. So, no one's dying today. :[
