Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
This is not a ~new~ idea, as we've all seen it on journals for ages but with all the silly conversations that happen in chats and not exactly IC (but we totally know they DID happen in IC---still following me??), the idea of bringing drop boxes AKA

Owl Posts to Valesco

HOW TO SET UP AN OWL POST

• Create a new post, go to the date and "edit" --- change the year to something in the future so that it sits on top of the journal. Make sure to click "Date out of Order"
• If you don't want to have the post sitting on the top of the journal, just create a new post and have it linked to your character's profile or userinfo for easy access!

So apparently we tweaked out Scribbld, so making the owl post connected to your profile page or an old entry or what the eff ever a new entry is what's going to have to happen until everything gets solved. Please don't do any dated-out-of-order posts until something is figured out please and thank you!!!

¤ THESE COMMENTS WILL BE IN CHARACTER in the way that it's an alternative to writing up new journal posts each time they want to talk to their significant other/friends/enemies/someone they are stalking etc. etc. Plus it's a fun and cute way to to share things.

¤ They can be viewed as regular journal comments like a journal entry would get, and are standalone between the two characters (like passed notes, quick speedy owls, pictures (these must work IC), private messages, texts you forgot you received and reply to days later not that I do that of course)

¤ HEADER must state OWL POST, the main entry can be personalized to the character's liking, ie. decorating their mailbox. This will definitely have some leeway because it's not a physical box, so funny images and gifs are allowed and encouraged :D

¤ COMMENTS must state the date, and what type of message it is. Comment left on this blank journal page? Message passed at work? Owl sent in the middle of the night?

COMMENT HERE WITH CHARACTERS WHO HAVE OWL POSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
