They had a whirlwind romance and got married, and then Seth had a quarter life crisis and freaked out. So they go divorced and hated each other for a couple of years.

Seth got arrested, shot, arrested again, his brother got shot. Life priorities shifted. Seth finally grew the fuck up and romanced the hell out of Savannah to win her back, and it worked.
