No, it really isn't. You do care for Bianca, right? Family means something, now more than ever. Just think how elated your mother will be, Bianca will appreciate it more than you can imagine as well.
You can choose to be proactive here, Bertram. Instead of waiting for things to happen, find some of that ambition that makes you a Slytherin and go for it. You have a child with this woman, it's time to show her you've truly a man and not just playing at it.
What do you have to lose? How is it different than being with her and having a child and raising a family with her? You only have gain. Status, loyalty, power?
