so i joined over three years ago and i owe a lot of my first choice and my roots to ~claer. i knew i wanted the jim hawkins but it was her pb suggestion on the wanted page that helped make the character click. i remember being so nervous at times but people were welcoming and friendly, and the comm wasn't just low pressure, it also always actively offered something if you'd missed a few days and you were looking for a way to jump back in. for drew in particular i also owe a lot of thanks to addy, bridget, jess, robby, delia, felicity, sawyer, mark and sutton who also helped me get him situated in his first year. dani and leighton, i always wish i'd given you more out of our lines and i thought you were both fabulous characters, i deeply loved your girlmance. there are so many other amazing characters and i don't think i have any hope of remembering them all but if i can just repeat myself again, huge thanks to sawyer, sutton, and claire who as lines had some of the biggest impact on drew specifically and who as characters constantly amazed and inspired me and made me want to always keep my hat in the ring here. thank you, thank you, thank you. -- ~hartwick

beth and bas, i can't remember the last time i was this invested in a line i wasn't even part of. (not to say everyone else isn't wonderful!) i love you guys, and i love those crazy kids, and i wish them both the best. is that weird? TOO LATE.

this is only the tip of the iceberg on how much i enjoy jb, but huge shoutout to ~macgrath for keeping the friends page moving while many of us (or at least me, especially me) struggle to balance writing and holiday shenanigans. it might seem like a little thing, but it means a lot.

i have been trying to come up with words to sum up how great andie is for a solid 24 hours now and it still isn't enough, but she is one of those character that it makes me so happy to see around, whether she's interacting with my characters personally or i'm just shamelessly stalking her comments in other people's spam posts, whatever~ she's wacky, she's fun, and i just really, deeply enjoy her. a+

another more general snap (who doesn't love a general snap, though?), but the past couple of years have shown some of the most incredible in-game ladyfriendships, which i consider to be something that the rp world and the written world in general is so sorely lacking, so GOOD FOR YOU, GUYS, STICK IT TO THE MAN.

lucinda brings a certain kind of off-kilterness that i've never really seen in the game before, and does it in a way that firmly establishes that she is actually a very weird kid, which is so nice to see with a premade that could pretty easily skew into manic pixie dream girl in-a-bad-way territory, and yet never pushes it into a place where it starts to feel like a caricature. she's great and i love it.

avery and sabrina are one of my all time favorite pairs of siblings to watch, and all of their interactions feel so genuine and true to life, no matter how ridiculous one or both of them may be behaving

natalie is so wonderful and perfectly type-a and nails the teenage girl who wishes she could be a real adult thing so well! i love the interactions my characters get to have with her, and always find myself rooting for her. #teambabykane

OKAY THIS IS GOING TO SOUND WEIRD but watching percy slowly crack has been such a wonderful source of entertainment for me as a writer, and i have to give ~perwin so many props both for letting a character go in that direction and for letting us put her through the wringer, because damn, girl
