My D.C. trip

Alright so this is a play by play of my vacation to Washington D.C.

Thursday:
I went to school all day, then when I came home I showered quickly, then I went to the school.  We packed, I said goodbye to my parents and siblings.  Then we left.  On the way we played Bando.  This is like bingo but for band nerds.  Lol it was fun.  Mr. Pallada was making fun of his wife, and then Emil who was sitting infront of my was like D!  For divorce!  lol it was so funny.  Hope and I made up a funny version of Your Beautiful by James Blunt.  Maybe I will post that later lol.  After that we watch Alvin and the Chipmunks (good movie by the way) and then Transformers.  By time they got to Transformers I was so tired!  So I tried to go to sleep, but the movie was up soooo fucking loud I was pissed because I kept getting woke up every time one of those fuckers would transform.  Bitches.  Nothing really happened other than me sleeping and waking up.

Friday:
We stopped in D.C. at McDonalds to get breakfast.  Everyone changes into real clothes, because we didn't go to our hotel until that night.  After we were done eating and changing, we went to the National Air and Space museum Udvar-Hazy Center.  It was okay for the first like 30 minutes.  But there wasn't enough there to occupy me for 3 hours.  After we did that we took the subway to the National Zoological Park.  We saw the Pandas and a whole bunch of other things.  This was the day I was super sick.  I was really congested and I couldn't breath very well.  We ate at Old country Buffet that night.  I have lots of jello, the only thing I could taste. Then we went back to the hotel and got setteled in.  Lights out was at 10:30.

Saturday:
Today we had to get up at 6:30.  We left at 10 am to go see the Smithsonian Museums on the National Mall.  This was a good day.  I saw the Washington monument, Linconln monument, the WWII monument, Vietnam, stuff like that. We also went to the Smithsonian Institution Building, Museum of Natural History, and more things I am forgetting.  I saw the Hope Diamond.  It's beautiful.  On our way to the meeting spot we encountered a protest.  There were Neo-nazi's and everything.  I swear I've never seen so many police in my life.  They had their shields and everything.  It was all anti-immigration stuff.  It was really interesting because I've never seen a protest before.  I also found out that there are snipers on top of the capitol building.  I saw one move.  I was absoutly astounded because everyone was talking about it but I thought they were kidding.  They weren't.  After all that walking and such, we went to Tobys Finner Theater.  We saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  It was a very good musical.  I really enjoyed it.  We didn't have much time to hang around this night because we didn't get back until around11:30.

Sunday:
This was that day we were supposed to march at Kings Dominian.  But it was 100% rain the whole day.  So we drove 2 hours out there, and found out we didn't really want to stay, so we drove 2 more hours back to the Grand Central mall.  This mall was huge!!!  Four stories and there was a coach store.  Oh god it was heaven.  This is also the mall where I fell in love with the Greek food Gyros.  Yummy yum.  After that we went to see the Pentigon, and the  Hiroshima monument.  Orvan our driver punked us good.  He said there was an electric wire that when we drove past it made the flag pole raise, but it was just an optical illusion.  lol silly Orv.  Then we went home.  I do believe this was the night everyone got drunk.  I didn't but I know a lot of people did.  Dumb kids, they could have gotten into so much trouble.

Monday:
Sad day this was.  :(  This was the last day in D.C.  We went to the Arlington Museum and took a tour on that.  We got to see the wreath laying ceremony and the changing of the guard for the statue of the unknown.  That was really interesting.  After that we took the subway to Union station.  After that we shopped for a bit, I didn't buy much.  After that we went to the Postal Museum.  This was the most boring place I've ever been.  Then we went to the Newseum.  This was soooo cool.  There was everything there.  Like everything big from the newspapers.  I loved it.  After this we went to the Hard Rock Cafe.  After this we went on a night tour of the National WW2 memorial, Jefferson memorial, FDR memorial, Lincoln memorial, Korean War Verterans memorial, and the Vietnam memorial.  It was miserable the whole time because it was cold and raining.  But it was still fun getting to know things about the places you normally wouldn't have known.  Then we left for Indiana.  And the rest is history.

I might update later with the dirty little details, things that happened, drama, and etc.

D.C.

So no writers block today.  I didn't like it, and plus I don't really need it today.  I actually have something to write about.  And this is that.... I GET TO GO TO D.C. WITH MY FRIENDS!!!  I'm really excited because I wasn't going to be able to go because it's $600, well Braxton called me and asked if I would be interested in going for a cheaper price...my answer?  Hell yes!  It's extremely last minute...I found out last night, and we are leaving Thursday...

I still have to learn the routine!  But that's okay, Eden and I made it up, so it shouldn't be too bad.  I will update with detailed descriptions of what I'm doing each day.  ^_^
