Do manga volumes count? If so, I recommend Cardcaptor Sakura.

Wasn't that a show? I remember seeing it when I was 12/13 and thinking it was ridiculous, haha. Is the manga different from the TV show?

Ha ha. The show you watched was probably the American version of it called Cardcaptors. No. It's the books. Manga is pretty much a Japanese comic, but ours are in English, if you didn't know. And the manga is SO much better. Now the original anime of it is called Cardcaptor Sakura. It's pretty much about this girl who's all bright and cheery who accidently opens a book called The Clow and let's out a creature. She has to then fight/retrieve the so-called cards she let out and blah blah blah. XD
