Kayura isn't worried about her own weapon. If she needs her equipment she can just call it to her. Of course that means she still has to draw her blade in an emergency and if she has to jump in the water in her full armor that will be very awkward.
Either way she's still following protocol and making sure that this is done properly as to not draw attention to herself.
