Apples and salad only suppress aeptpites for some people .it's not a universal thing. There is no group of foods you can put that label on that works for everyone.If you want to suppress your appetite, you use self control. Water and tea are also great fillers and help cleanse your system.If you only ate apples and salad, your stomach and intestines would start to have problems. It could lead to diarrhea and cramping. You aren't getting many nutrients out of that. Where are the vegetables, protein, grains, good fats, fruit, etc? If you only eat those two things, you will be hungry no matter how much water you drink. You also will not have enough nutrients in your body to keep you going and enable you to workout regularly.
