12:12 am - oo2. Ok, so it is official! As of two minutes ago, I am moved in! Everything's unpacked! Not put away, but it's out of the boxes and that's all that really counts, right?
So, since I'm new to this whole magic-diary thing, I guess I'll introduce myself... This feels something like being the new kid in school. Brutal.
But anyway, hi, I'm Elliot!
Now, what exactly is there to do around here?

I guess it depends on what you like to do, yeah?
Hmm, you've got a point there. So let's see, what do I like to do...
I guess anything that doesn't involve a whole bunch of money, since I'm pathetically broke right now. I'm clearly not too picky.
Aye, well then. I'm relatively new here too, as I hail from a much-smaller Scottish town. I guess there's a whole lot of sightseeing to do, London is quite the pretty city.
Oooh, never met me a Scotsman before!
It's not that I'm not used to the city aspect of it... I just don't know where anything is!

Well. You've certainly got to check out Diagon Alley, there's a whole lot of places to visit. Shops, pubs and whatnot.
I'm Avery, by the way.
Hi Avery! I've already been to Diagon Alley. I work there, actually, as of two days ago.
Any particular spots you'd recommend personally?

Oh really? Where at?
Fratelli Camisa's a great place to get some coffee and a bite to eat. Flourish & Blotts is pretty nice bookstore, too. And if you've got a sweet tooth, there's Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.
Well, I work at Flourish & Blotts, actually!
I've always got a sweet tooth. And I'm a bit of a caffeine addict, to be honest. So it looks like you've given me perfect suggestions!

I'm sure I'll be running into you, then.
I'm glad I could be of help.
I look forward to it! Maybe we could grab coffee sometime. :)

Of course. Maybe after you get off from work?
Sounds like a plan! I usually get off around 4.

Alright. I'll be seeing you soon, then.
Hmm, that doesn't sound very promising.
Well, from the limited selections, what would you do if you were a) poor and b) bored?
Poor and bored, two things that describe me rather well sort of-- Hrm. I would probably head to the library, to be honest. True blue Ravenclaw here. Plus with this weather, it's better to be cool I think.
We didn't have 'houses' at my school, though it seems like a pretty cool system.
The library! That's a good idea. I'm a fan of the written word. Which is probably why I work in a store that sells books exclusively. And staying cool is definitely a perk. You Ravenclaws must be the brainy ones. :)
Is it bad to spend your free time in a place that so closely resembles your workplace, though?
Really? I can't even imagine going to school without ridiculous rivalries and the expectations brought upon by with a talking hat sets upon you when you're merely eleven years of age.
And yes, the Ravenclaws are the brainy ones.
Hm, I'm not sure--if you get sick of books, then it might be a problem.
Wow. That sounds like everything I dreamed it would be!
Although, to be honest, it sounds a lot like Salem. Only we didn't have a talking hat. Just a lot of adolescent witches forced to live together for seven years. I think they just knew that we'd tear each other into sects without the chatty headwear.
I don't think I could ever get sick of books. So I guess I just answered my own question.
