History: Abby is the eldest daughter of Jay and Ruth Sayers. She never expected to take up superheroics, but her parents used their connections to see that she got adequate training in her the minor magic abilities for which she had an inclination. She was completing her anthropology degree when Dr. Fate was no longer able to fulfill the role, and the Helmet of Nabu ended up choosing her. Now her magical abilities aren't so minor, and she has to go around gauging how much she can help people and how much she needs to cling to her humanity.
