"Well, of course not, Minnie. I don't want to kill you in a fit of hunger. Still, I have to be sure that I don't do to other people what I did to Mr. Buckles...or the gardener...or the pool boy." Julian says, recounting a few of his less-successful feedings.
Minnie had had to calm him down or calm them down, or help him hide a body, in one extreme case.
"I can't just feed on you forever." he says.
