The club was rather plain-looking from the outside. There was no line, no velvet rope. That was sort of what 'private' meant, of course.

Once they get in, it's another story. The place is lavishly decorated, and the predominance of Italian suits for the very predominately male audience may make clear why Minnie recommended some of his nicer clothes. The performance space is, interestingly enough, in-the-round, surrounded by chairs with an aisle leading through from Elsewhere -- the Elsewhere to which Minnie retreats to change, first pressing into DJ's hands her newest choker and asking him to hold it for her, then smiling and scurrying off.

When some classic big-band music starts playing and she steps out, she's in a rather lavish midnight outfit.
She starts with a very classic burlesque routine, as well, focusing on the playful strutting, the posing, featuring the imminence of revelation far more than revelation itself, running the coy-petulant-gleeful gamut a bit while showing off the lines of her body in her movements against convenient staging scenery and, gradually, the curves of her body under just the right lighting.

He's the son of a lawyer - so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that he does, in fact, own a rather nice suit. It was just in the back of his closet, since he doesn't wear it very often.

He takes the choker happily, noting the jealous glances cast his way, well aware part of his role here is being 'the boyfriend' so no one gets any ideas.

Then he settles back in his seat to enjoy the dance, once Minnie comes front stage.

And Minnie's loving the performance, clearly enjoying every movement, but not getting lost in just that, as she's always very, very aware of the audience, locking eyes with various of them rather intently when she half-sits-half-lies at the edge of the stage to teasingly untie a few things. She can't help herself from lingering uncommonly long with DJ, but it doesn't really disrupt her performance.

	It certainly doesn't disrupt it from DJ's perspective - even with perhaps a few more jealous looks cast his way here and there. The crowd does seem rather into the performance in general, with the usual assortment of encouragement for the dancer. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

It certainly seems to be going well, and Minnie happily, gracefully, tantalizingly plays off the crowd as she goes through the rest of the performance, eventually taking her bow at the end of the song in nothing but some very strategically placed accessories, smiling sweetly at the applause. Despite great temptation, both for the acts themselves and the visual effect in a performance, she'd avoided asking for a very thorough spanking the night before, deciding any sign of residual welts on her skin would be unprofessional.

So as in most performances, the skin she's showing off a little more blatantly, a little more wantonly to the faster paced music is flawless.

The performance will go on quite some time, the sweat glistening on her eventually, a stray lock of hair coming loose by accident or design and plastering to her face just so. And then finally, when she can't seem to possibly have the crowd more rapt, she takes her final bow and goes to dress.

	As the dance picks up, and more and more flesh comes into view, veiled behind only the skimpy accessories, the crowd does its part, going more and more wild at the display. DJ is right there along with the rest, whistling his approval, and quite enjoying having one of the best seats in the house by dint of being her guest for the evening. When it's all said and done, even the encores, Minnie, with a bit of clothes back on, makes her was as unobtrusively as possible -- which isn't very, after that performance, with the audience still hanging about. -- to DJ's seat.

Having found DJ, she decides to go to the other extreme from unobtrusive, turning around and dropping to her knees beside his chair holding her head high gracefully and canting it just right for him to put the choker on.

	He can't help but grin just a little at the looks they get, and he plays his part proudly, placing the choker around her neck with a look like he's won thew grand prize. A soft sigh at his touch, and then Minnie has a chance to talk to one of the club employees for a bit without any interference from club members, not even the ones who appear to be trying to strangle DJ with their eyes.

After they've sorted out business and exchanged a few cryptic remarks -- an a less cryptic 'nice choice for the one you're with' -- Minnie smiles. "Ready to leave?" She leans in more, up on tiptoe. "I'd love to see just how inspired."
