A Time of Need (Nightstalkers)
(This scene takes place after the vampire attack in Los Angeles)

Eli reaches out with his mind, as even a cell phone is too slow for his needs.

Bram....

Jessica....

Gregory...

Amanda....

I am in need of your aid.

Eli's tone is earnest and solemn, and he does his level best to keep it from being pleading for their assistance.

He waits to to see if they'll answer back, hoping that they are all not otherwise busy.

	"Mother...? What madness is this?" Eli asks, rolling away from Thulsa Doom. He reaches out for his mother's mind and learns what she intends to do. "No! I will not allow it!" he yells at her, but it is far too late. The room begins to glow as Pixie summons her remaining energy to her, channeling it for one last effort against her jailer.
