Username Update
I've sent out emails for the current requests. I've also updated the current list and crossed some out, unfortunately I do not have the time to run through the entire list so a few people are getting denial emails...

I've definitely learned a lot about how this should all work and I re-worded one of the rules to say that you MUST have your email address in your profile so I can see it. I don't have time to be digging around the database looking for your email address.

I did find it funny that some people thought they could comment with a list of 10 usernames and then leave another 3 or 4 comments with 10 other usernames, YOU ONLY GET TO CHOOSE 10...haha

Ok, well hope it's been fun!!

i'm a little confused on what you mean by saying that you sent out emails, did you send emails to people who requested uns? if so, i didn't get one. also, i made my email visible in my userinfo, in case that's the reason i didn't get the email.

thank you so much for giving me the usernames i requested, i really appreciate it! i had a problem logging into the account paris, though, which you also gave me according to the email i received from you, and when i checked the userinfo for that account, the email listed is not mine. do you know if perhaps that was a little slip (i understand you must've had a million emails/accounts to do) or if the person "stole" it back? thank you again!

thank you for the e-mail! but a few of the usernames i've requested that were in my e-mail with the listed password ([info]taylor [info]swift [info]ellen) say that i have the incorrect password when i attempt to login. also, when i try to change the password of the usernames that did allow me to login, it says that my e-mail hasn't been validated, but i didn't receive a validation e-mail. thank you so much for the help, trouble, and your hard work :-*

thank you so much for the usernames! also, i have a quick question. in the email i got, only one of the usernames i requested was listed under the 'usernames' portion but i didn't get a denial email or anything, so i tried logging into the others i requested with the password i was given, and they all worked. my email was there as the registered email and everything, so i validated them. i just wanted to make sure that was okay since only one of the usernames was actually listed in the email, but i'm thinking that was possibly just a mistake. :-[ sorry if that's confusing, i'm just paranoid

thank you so much for the uns but i had a little problem with the majority of them. when i tried to use king, cocaine, mod, josh, chanel, sinister it wouldn't let me change the passwords on them because my email wasn't validated but it was my email in the account. i sent you an email about this but i just wanted to check in with you on here too. thank you so much!

id like it if you took patrick and the other validated emails off of the list so people don't ask for them. some i haven't validated because i don't want to keep them, but this is one i do as well as the others i've gone out of my way to validate. they're only NOT validated because when you first made the site there was a flaw that didn't mail out emails or something. but yeah thanks

~b and ~r were both mine, both validated, and both had an update in them..is there any way i could get them back since they were given away? i mean i had even commented http://www.scribbld.net/~anon/469.html here with ~b so i planned on using it..

surrender, sassy, ans and peyton were originally mine on the email nic.ashlee@gmail.com

i even have copies of the validation emails which I did validate and I can't log into any of these. is there any way I can have them back? I requested some of these in the other post but found in my emails that I already had them like I originally thought.

there were a few more that I had, that I won't ask for back because they are actively in use but the above four I would really appreciate

Jimmy, after reading the other comments in here, I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work on this and making this site flippin' sweet. i'm just a little confused, please don't hate. can usernames you've given to us (and that we have already validated) still be taken back or away from us by the original owners or no? i don't want to end up using a journal given to me through here and then find that maybe the creator/original owner of the journal has taken it back and all my stuff is gone. :( just curious.

As of right now yes, but after the 4th, any account left un-validated by the original owner cannot be re-claimed by the original owner.

hello! i'd like to thank you for giving me the usernames i requested, i appreciate it. the only thing is, i thought that if we validated usernames, they wouldn't be given away anymore? i made sure to validate the ones that i registered, but it looks like a couple of them were given away anyway. honestly, the only two that i really care were given away are ~casey and ~noah, particularly the first one, because i was fully intending to use them at some point, and i was wondering if there was any way i could get them back?

hey jimmy, i thought it would be easier to comment here with this question instead of on the new big post with all the usernames in it.

i thought that round one usernames were going to be available on january 8th, so i didn't check my email over new years or anything; that was my mistake! it is now january 4th, but i am little confused about the round one deadline; if i'm correct, i cannot validate the usernames i requested anymore, right? they were [info]brooklyn, [info]cheryl and [info]kimberley. i am just confirming this with you, because if my validating them is easier, then i still will. :-[
