As Jonas revved up for the last song of the day, Kobe smiled brightly at the crowd. The critics had been wrong. It was a peace rally that had gone off without a hitch and no sign of death eaters, anywhere! The extra security must really be doing its job, and everyone was having a blast. She'd even seen some aurors bouncing around to the music, too! Kobe was incredibly proud of her husband, and she looked up to the clear blue sky with a wide, toothy grin.

It faded slightly, however, as some dark clouds began to roll in over the park. Remarkably fast clouds, which didn't seem natural and were already thundering loudly. The weather report had claimed they would have clear skies all day, so this was strange and----Kobe slammed her hands over her ears as the loudest roll of thunder clapped itself over the park. Immediately the clouds seemed to open up and rain began to pour down on the crowd like buckets. Well--if bad weather was the worse of their problems, they'd done a pretty good job, right?

Kobe gasped as a bolt of green lightening shot through the crowd, followed by the terrified screams of the concert goers.

"No, nonono----" she let out from the side of the stage. Where had they all come from? The bloody sky? Kobe started towards Jonas, to pull her husband off the stage because while they had met during a catastrophe, she really did not feel like enduring another one, "Jonas!" she screamed, but was thrown off balance as the stage began to creak and shake as if an earthquake was beginning to rumble underneath.

Peace didn't stand a chance, these days.

Order of the Phoenix
It was best to take matters into his own hands. The Order of the Phoenix had been infiltrated, and to calm the nerves of its members, Albus was going to meet with each one to manage a questioning of sorts. Auror Longbottom had used the word 'interrogation' but until he could find answers, Albus was going to believe in the group he had put together. While he wasn't naive, he did know how easily people could be corrupted, he had faith in the members of the Order, knowing that they had all always shown great strength when it came to making choices between right and wrong.

He sent out a patronus to one member at a time, not wanting to create a crowd in the house for that would only cause to build more tension. Dumbledore knew that the war did not seem to be turning in their favor, but while he was a man who loved to find answers, he always had a faith that would allow him to do so. He sat in the kitchen area, going over some final reports that his professors had finished while he waited for the next Order member to arrive.

The tentative footsteps approached the table and Dumbledore kept his head bowed for a moment before lifting his gaze up to meet the next Order member.

"Have a seat. Would you like a lemon drop?" He pushed the candy dish across the table.

Alice had a huge, gigantic, headache.

When they'd received James' patronus, Alice had happened to be looking out of the window of Neville's nursery (Neville, Neville, this Nigel thing needed to stop right now). Her eyes had locked onto the dark clouds, and she thought, 'Oh, how peculiar.'

Because honestly, when did a bright and sunny day turn into one terrorized by a tornado? Frank came loudly bursting into the room a moment later and Neville was swept up before they quickly apparated to the Order house. Alice wasn't sure if Frank had even said anything, but she'd known, and they landed in the Order house. She was glad to see that they weren't the first; Molly Weasley and her brood were in the living room. Alice nodded at her, rolling up her sleeves and motioning for Frank to give Neville to Molly (who had automatically rushed over to take the baby from her husband).

"Ready?" she asked, flipping out her wand. Merlin, it had been a long time since she'd seen any action.

Old + Newly Invited Members! :O
James felt like he was in a zoo on display, the feeling of a million pairs of eyes sitting upon him. Dumbledore had set up the Hog's Head as an 'informational meeting' of sorts, for people they had all suggested, thought of, and found to be highly trustworthy. These people were going to be offered to put their lives on the line for their dying secret society, and James was surprised as hell that so many had actually shown up.

They were all idiots, he believed.

But then again, they must all think that he and the rest of the original Order (he felt so old, saying that) were out of their minds. To them, the Order was just a bunch of kids who got caught up in a big, ugly mess and were now crying for help. Which it felt like, sometimes, but James wasn't ready to admit that out loud. He wasn't sure if he ever could, which was why he was staying uncharacteristically silent through the whole engagement. He was slumped in one of the booths of the tavern, eyes following the mingling and quite chatter that was going on.

Drinks will be served! Dumbledore had ended jovially, and James had sighed. Part of him felt like a wretched person for getting more and more people involved into the war, but the other, very tired part of him was ready to hand over the reigns and let Voldemort get some new toys to play with.

Order Men
How could this have happened?

James paced back and forth in the living room of the Order House, having been banned from helping the rescue party because he couldn't remain calm. Damn bloody right he couldn't remain calm! Only Frank and Alice---and Dumbledore, he knew, only they knew about the prophecy. So they did not have any idea of what was going through James' head. What was Voldemort doing, not having people kill Lily on the spot? Or had they killed her, and taken her and---James clenched his fists tightly, wishing to wring the neck of the death eaters that had dared invade their home. They had seen maybe one neighbor, always entering the house through the floo, so how anyone knew their location was highly suspicious.

They had only told a handful of people.

He didn't like the paranoia that was growing with his anger, but James couldn't stop his thoughts. How had they found out? Who had slipped and revealed their location? The Longbottoms were keeping a very low profile too, they were definitely in a more public place than they were, so---if they had been after Alice (like she had hysterically explained) they why didn't they attack them at the Ministry? Or at Alice's parents? It didn't make any sense to James, and he had the boiling, intensely strong gut-feeling that they had been waiting to hit two birds with one stone.

James kicked out at the thought, making the side table and the variety of knick-knacks on top of it rattle. Nothing fell, and James struck his hand out and sent the lamp soaring to the ground with a very satisfying crack. He whirled around--what else would be ridiculously good to smash?
