Lucius was having a good Christmas, even if his mother kept telling his fiance to fuck him. It wasn't so bad. At least Narcissa wasn't actually trying to get in his trousers. He took a sip of his coffee, arm wrapped around Evan as he picked at the breakfast the elves had served them, and rolled his eyes at Narcissa. "Everything is fine," he said. "She doesn't suspect anything. It helps that you're not a virgin anymore."

Narcissa rolled her eyes at Lucius, taking a sip of her tea and leaning against the foot of the bed. "I don't think you understand exactly how concerned your mother is," she said. "I mean, you spend your time doting on peacocks and whispering with Evan. Who is obviously gay."

	"I'm not getting married." Evan informed Lucius as he looked back at him. He shook his head. "I've already told my family I'm not getting married. Ever. I'll be single and able to do whatever I want for the rest of my life." He looked at Narcissa. "It's not romantic. He'll make us sit in the back where no one can see us." "I thought we were just talking about how I'm too obvious about being gay around my mother?" Lucius frowned at Evan. "If you care about me then you should understand that there are some things I can't do until I'm married. I don't have the luxury of being able to tell my mother anything."

He pulled away from Evan a little. "We've spent the past week together. I've shown you exactly how I feel. And now that's not enough?"

	His mother was the last person Lucius wanted to find out about this. "Can't I just tell everyone at school about us instead?" he asked, after a moment of hesitation.
