"Whiskey," Dani grinned. "Dad says it aint lady like but I don't give a damn," she puffed her chest out a bit heroically as Sylvia drank some red punch.

"Oh!" Dani's face lit right up. A compliment! Could it be the beginnings of their romantic entanglement?! "I play quodpot and work out like all the time," she smoothed her dress out and beamed at the other girl. "Yer like totally perfect though," she giggled.
