Letting herself be pulled back into the bedroom, Hunter gave a little sigh of her own as she looked down at her girlfriend. "Uh huh, I sure did," she agreed. It wasn't as if things like expressing her feelings came easily to her, and although she had thought and planned meticulously for this moment, it wasn't coming as easy as she had imagined. She had been sure after thinking out her words so many times and planning the dramatic kiss afterward, it would be a piece of cake, but now she felt choked up in a way that she rarely experienced.

"Fixed it though," she added quickly, squirming her hand down and into her pocket, taking the ring in her closed fist. She hesitated before actually taking it out. "Promise not to laugh?" the blonde asked cautiously, an eyebrow raising. She felt like her heart was in her throat.

"Laugh?" she asked, a little quirk of a grin on her face. "Please don't tell me y'all found a twenty four hour chapel?" she joked then looked at Hunter seriously. "Of course I won't laugh at ya." Up on her tip toes she gave Hunter a little kiss on the lips.

"That's a promise," Hunter reminded her gently, closing her eyes for a quick moment as the younger girl kissed her. It was enough to give her a little burst of courage, even if she still felt like a complete idiot none the less. Clearing her throat, the tall blonde took a step back away from Michi, fixing her with a rather serious look of her own.

"Well, I.. no, we didn't find no chapel. I wouldn't really wanna marry Mack, think I'd hafta shoot myself in the face if I did.. but uh, well, the thing about it is.. I wouldn't really mind if I was, y'know, married to you? If you're.. followin' where I'm goin' with this.."

Her speech wasn't really going as smoothly as she planned, and it was coming out more and more awkwardly with each second. She wasn't some nervous little kid who got all jumpy and wigged out. She was a grown ass woman, and it was high time to prove that she could act like it sometimes. Pulling the ring out of her pocket fully, she promptly dropped down onto not one but both knees before holding it up to the younger girl. "I ain't even worthy, but.. hell, I sure wouldn't mind. If ya wanted."

Michi's heart was in her throat when Hunter started talking about marriages but then she was on her knees and holding up a ring at her. "Oh my god..." she said feeling wet tears splash onto her cheeks. "OH MY GOD!" She tried her best not to flail around but she couldn't even believe it.

"Are you kidding me?!" She leaned down, putting her hands on either side of Hunter's face and kissed her with everything she had. "Yes," she whispered into Hunter's hair, still leaning over. "I wouldn't wanna marry anyone else on this damn planet!"

"This ain't shit to kid about!" Hunter managed to get out, laughing weakly and feeling like an incredible weight was lifted off of her shoulders as the younger girl leaned down and kissed her. When she said yes, it was impossible for the tall blonde to contain the maniacal grin that crossed her face. "Seriously? You mean it?"

She knew that she did, but she still wanted to hear it. After last night, it didn't feel like it was real. It felt like it was too good to be true, especially after all of the fuck-ups. "Look, uh.. don't think it's gay or anythin' but I thought.. uh, emeralds cause the broad at the store said that's the uh, birthstone for May. Like, for Monkey. An' then I.. got four of 'em, for us an' the boys. What ya think? Fuckin' stupid or what?"

"Yeah I mean it," she said wiping hurriedly at her eyes, unable to stop smiling. She finally looked at the ring when Hunter was explaining it. "Hunt..." she could barely get the words out. She just leaned into the older girl and let herself cry softly. "I never thought I would get to be this happy," she admitted.

"It aint gay er nothin', it's some damn sweet," she laughed gently, admiring the emeralds. "I love it, I love everything about it." Hunter had really put a lot of thought into it and all she could do was cry and smile. "I love you," she kissed her again.

Letting out a laugh of relief when Michi didn't tell her that she was a moron, even though she felt like one, Hunter pulled the younger girl tighter into her arms as she started crying. She could feel herself tearing up too, but she cleared her throat quickly, trying to fend it off. "Me neither," she murmured back, smiling and pressing her lips against the side of her girlfriend's cheek, kissing it loudly.

"I love you too kid," she assured her, still grinning with slightly damp eyes as she leaned into the kiss. "Don't tell Mack that I was a big sappy ass about it though, or I'll hafta drown her.."

"I won't tell her nothin'," Michi laughed. Though she would proudly wear the ring and she was sure they would have a ridiculous wedding, this was their moment and it was incredibly private. "Aint no one else's business," she sniffled, laughing gently.

"Oh my god Hunt, we're going to have an amazing wedding," she giggled. "Like cowboy boots an' barbecue an' little hats," she laughed and let herself lean into the older girl more heavily, burying her face in her blonde hair. "Oh jesus I'm all shakin'," she laughed again, admiring the ring on her shaking hand.

"Right? It's gonna be the best.. we'll have all the fixins, y'know. Whatever ya want," Hunter laughed back, squeezing the younger girl gently in her arms as Michi nuzzled into her hair. "Me too," she admitted, with another nervous laugh. Holding onto her girlfriend was keeping some of it under control, but there was still a nervous tremble that she couldn't shake.

It was a big step, a big deal, but so was having a kid and they were already jumping headlong into that. She didn't see any reason to beat around the bush once they were in that deep together. "I figured.. ya know, maybe a summer weddin'.. or like, fall! If that ain't long enough, I dunno. I figured you'd.. pick out all of that important shit. I'll jus' find the cowboy hats," she grinned.

"I gotta get you a proper ring! And we should pick out dresses! Oh and flowers and cake! I don't give a damn what kinda cake it is as long as it's cake," she laughed. "And Mack can give us away!"

"Really?! I always thought a summer weddin' would be nice! And Monkey can be like a proper little ring bearer," she cooed. "Yori can like carry him down the aisle in their little suits!" she giggled. "They're gonna be so fuckin cute, I'm gonna die," she laughed.

"Yeah, you bet! We'll have all that shit, babe.. yer gonna look gorgeous in your dress," she replied, smiling slowly at the thought. "Y'all really want that bitch givin' us away?" she grinned. "Like she owns me or somethin'!"

Summer wedding meant that it was coming much faster, it gave them a lot less time to talk about things especially with everything else they had going on, but Hunter wasn't put off. They'd pull it off somehow, even if she wasn't totally sure how they were going to pay for it all yet either. She'd figure it out.

"Gonna be the cutest," she agreed. "He won't be old enough to remember it, but y'know.. he's gonna be there. That's pretty damn cool. Us and our boo."

She laughed. "She is the closest thing to a dad I ever had," she joked. "Yer gonna look gorgeous too," she said pressing a little kiss against the other girl's neck.

"I wouldn't have it any other way," she said patting her tummy gently. Summer wasn't terribly far away but it didn't really phase her. It had only been months since she found out that she was going to be giving birth. That was the bigger change in her life. There was no way she wouldn't be able to prepare a wedding by the end of summer.

"Ain't gonna be nothin' beside you.. c'mon now," Hunter replied softly, closing her eyes as the younger girl kissed her neck, making her shiver a little.

Stepping back a little, she looked down at Michi seriously, smiling slowly. "We'll figure it all out. Get them bitches to give us a hand.. we'll sort it out.. leave it to me. I'll make sure everything comes off without a hitch."

It was sort of a big promise to make, but she had every intention of making it true. From everything with Monkey, to their wedding, she wasn't going to fuck up.

"You're full of it," she flushed, smiling like an idiot. "Yer always beautiful."

"We got this," she took Hunter's hands in her own and smiled big. "Ser's wicked smart, she'll be able to help and Tate's got that band, they could totally play at our wedding!" she said brightly. "We're gonna be alright."
