It was really the first party that Meka had been looking forward to in a long time. She had a sordid history in the party scene, especially the past few years. This one would be different though. She was with her boyfriend, a boyfriend that she actually wanted to be with this time. She wore the ring he had given to her on Valentine's Day and was practically bouncing all night. A few too many drinks in, Meka turned to Sim, red faced and giggling. "Come outside for a cigarette," she said already taking his hand and leading him to the door.

Sim had his arm draped around Meka's shoulders since they had walked into the party and not one person seemed to give a fuck. He was aprtly relieved and partly disappointed, but he wanted this party to go smoothly for her, for once.

He smiled at her and squeezed her shoulder. "Sure babe" he said, letting her take his hand and take him outside. Once they were he offered her a cig and took one out for himself, stealing a kiss before putting it in his mouth and lighting it.

It felt comfortable to have his arm around her shoulders, like he wasn't ashamed of her. It had taken a lot of stress out of her life since they had stated officially dating. She grinned into the kiss and found herself blushing, smiling shyly.

She let her cigarette and snuggled into his side. "Having a good time?" she asked.
