Tatum/Charlie

Fights were a bit much, and pretty much as soon as Mack and Eden had wrestled their way to the ground, Tatum had made her escape toward the back door of the house. There was already enough blood all over the carpet, and she just didn't want to get involved. They were both idiots, and she wasn't really feeling in the mood to show either of them her tits, so heading out back to let it blow over was just easier. They didn't even seem to notice her slipping away, which was preferable.

Finally getting out onto the back deck, Tatum sidled her way up to one of the patio chairs, flopping into it and already blazing up a joint. She had seen Jenny out her smoking a cigarette with someone earlier, but there was only one other person out there now, and it wasn't her. Avoiding making too much eye contact with the tall blonde sitting on the other side of the deck, Tatum puffed idly at her spliff and tried her best to act natural.

After talking to Jenny, Charlie had grabbed the fullest bottle she could find and headed to the back porch. She had seen it coming, always had, but she had hoped that she might have been wrong. She had instantly wanted to run back to Alex, because Alex had always been there for her, but she had stopped herself. The shorter girl would surely give her a lengthy "I told you so" lecture, it was just who Alex was. It hurt even more because of her deep feelings for Alex. Charlie cared deeply for Jenny, and could have been truly happy with her, had been for the last month or so. She had hoped that she could drag herself out of the deep hole she was digging for herself in regards to her feelings for Alex. Their conversation at New Years had only confirmed her fears. Alex was Alex, and while Charlie loved her, she would never be what the blonde girl wanted her to mean to her.

Charlie didn't know what to do anymore, but for now, drinking three quarters of a fifth of tequila and looking at the stars seemed to be the only solution. She watched as Tatum flopped onto one of the patio chairs, and it took her a few moments to recognize her as Sera's older sister. Struggling drunkenly to her feet, she stumbled over to the redheaded girl and gave her a friendly smile.

"Mind if I join you?" she slurred, tilting her head in question. Tatum wasn't exactly her first choice for company tonight, especially with her mammoth girlfriend skulking about causing fights. Charlie was slightly desperate however, she didn't feel like sitting alone anymore. "I promise I don't bite too hard," she added with a wink.

Once Tatum had noticed the other girl looking over at her, she had begun almost immediately chanting a mantra in her head about not panicking. Maybe the girl wouldn't say anything to her, maybe she'd just get up and go away, but Tatum couldn't stop herself from groaning inwardly when Charlie began to stagger over in her direction instead. She tried to give her best smile back, but it mostly came out slow and nervous.

"Uh," she began lamely, looking around hurriedly as if making sure that Charlie wasn't talking to someone else. But sadly, they were the only people out here. "S-Sure, why not.. I guess," she finally agreed, straightening up in her seat a bit and motioning for Charlie to take one of the empty chairs around the table. "Y-You puff?" she asked, offering out the joint and blushing horrendously in the darkness when Charlie winked at her. "Uhm, that's g-good. Yeah."
