Rex was silent for a moment, checking something in one of the drawers. He glanced through the small window into the cab, taking his time in answering Kellen's questions.
Finally, he spoke. "I'm Rex. My father hunted your kind and taught me all of this shit. But to be honest, I like making money off of it a lot better than I like killing." Rex had no problem lying to the wolf and he did so with practiced ease. "Your pack is pretty widely known as the biggest and most powerful. Lots of cash too. I'm sure they'd be willing to pay a lot for your safe return." Of course, Rex knew that Hunter would come barrelling after his little lost lamb and the four of them would be ready to take the alpha out.
