Kellen went quiet. He could argue many things, but he all ready knew that Rex wasn't going to listen. Most hunters were set in their ways, and it took a lot to bring them around to the reality that werewolves weren't monsters. Not all of them, at least. There were the rogue wolves that needed to be put down, the wild kind that went too far or didn't know how to control themselves. And there were ones like himself, who were raised in a pack and led by alphas like Hunter who taught them well. But hunters didn't see things that way, and Kellen knew that. The only hunter he'd ever heard of or known to change his mind was Jocelin. Rex, Kellen could tell, didn't have the heart for that kind of change, so Kellen wasn't going to waste his time.

He didn't ask any other questions or try to talk. Kieran was safe, and he knew that his pack would keep him safe. His heart ached to think that he might not ever get to see his son again, but he damn sure was going to do everything he could to try. For now, though, he was biding his time.
