Locating Greer had been easy since Niko had an open and active connection to him. He was keeping Greer dormant until he knew who he was, and from there he'd decide on if he'd let him wake up or not. He could sense other supernatural beings around the sorcerer, which only made him even more suspicious of the man.

Once they got to Cold Water, Niko found a quaint little bed and breakfast and rented a room for them. He pinpointed Greer from there, and though he insisted Bae and Miles stay behind, he had a feeling at least one of them had followed him - if not both.

He was standing outside of the mansion, peering up at it with a frown. He knew exactly what was inside. Vampires, and a lot of them. That worried him even more about why this sorcerer was looking for Bae. Was he selling lycanthropes to vampires? Or sex? Or both? There was only one way to find out, but he wasn't sure how he was going to go about getting into the house.

That's when Morris happened along, and Niko sensed him as soon as the man step foot out of his car. Turning, he stared over at Morris for a moment. It was obvious Cold Water was a hot bed for the supernatural. Still, Nikolai could tell Morris wasn't a powerful necromancer. Not yet, anyway.

	Bae kissed Mason on the forehead. "Yes, they'll probably curl up with us. Is that all right with you?" He didn't want Mason to feel uncomfortable with strangers, which he realized Niko and Miles were to Mason. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Mason nodded his head a little bit, and he pulled his head back a little so that he could brush a kiss against the side of Bae's jaw, and then the corner of his mouth before he settled once again. "I don't mind," he said softly, "Just as long as you're here." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Their lips had gotten so close and Bae felt his heart beat a bit faster. But then they were settled again and he had to relax. "Good," he said quietly and tucked his hands in against Mason's waist. "I think that you'll grow to like them." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I'll like them because you like them," Mason said quietly.

They'd helped Bae, they'd kept him safe and apparently they treated him well. As far as Mason was concerned, Nikolai and Miles were golden in his book. Bae hadn't ever been the most trusting type, so the fact that he trusted the sorceres spoke volumes to Mason.

"I'm afraid to sleep, what if you aren't here when I wake up?" he asked with a sleepy smile.

	"If I'm not here when you wake up, then it was a nice dream for both of us and I'm still somewhere looking for you. And I'll wake up knowing you're still looking for me." That was somehow comforting to him, though he would much prefer for this to be real. He shut his eyes, deciding not to wait up for Nikolai and Miles to get back. (Reply to this)(Parent)
