It had been nice to have the boys to focus on while Andrew was gone. If it hadn't been for them, he would have gone crazy with missing Andrew. Fortunately, the boys had been more than happy to eat up his attention and time. Still, Joshua had thought at least a million years had passed since he'd been able to feel Andrew against him. See him.
Somewhere in his dreams, he caught the scent of his boyfriend. He'd been dreaming of running as he often did and as he stood in the middle of the woods, he could smell Andrew's familiar smell. Slowly, he started to be aware that this was a dream and as he swam his way up into consciousness, he started to feel his anticipation grow to the point of bursting. When he opened his eyes and saw Andrew there, he lunged up to throw his arms around him. The movement was abrupt and would have woken up any normal little boys. But somehow, Jeremiah and Julian slept right through it like little rocks.
