"He didn't attack me," she explained. "He's here under some misguided sense that he needs to save me from you."
She sighed. "He's a friend of mine." Friend was probably the best way to put their relationship right now.
"He didn't hurt me or even touch me. Please Adam, don't hurt me. He was only trying to convince me to leave here."
