There is a huge rustle coming up the stairs, as well as some clattering of metal and light swearing. The door flies open and Ted Kord comes through, holding some tools and other knick-knacks.
"What happened, Buggie?" Ted says, the bags under his eyes the only hint of his emotional condition.
