The glass bottle made contact with Batman's arm, luckily not cutting the suit, but enough to bruise his arm fairly badly.
He was getting desperate. Batman grabbed a smoke bomb off his utility belt, aiming it at the ground, firing a line to shoot up over the crowd of Jokerz in the confusion.
