"That's not true, J'anna. You've got your father and the Outsiders. You've got...Rex and his family as well, right? I'm /not/ the only person you have, J'anna. I wouldn't want to be the only person you have." Tim says.
"And the way we started out was my fault, too. I could have ended this then and you wouldn't be here right now. But I ignored my instincts and now you're in danger." Tim says.
"I really care about you, J'anna. I do. That's why I'm trying not to be selfish right now and give you a way to live your life without that hanging over your head. You've seen the things that have happened in my life. I don't want to bring that kind of pain on someone else." Tim says, remaining still.
He hasn't moved to throw J'anna out, but he's also not telling her to stay.
