Pippi isn't even quite certain why she's going where she is. Her jewelry just keeps leading her further and further afield, insisting this is the right direction - she has the gem of compassion, and apparently someone needs compassion right now.
She's not Iris, but when the gem is pushing hard, which it is right now, she's plenty fast, super leaping over tall buildings, covering half a mile per jump and trusting that her gem knows where she's going.
When Iris wakes up, she's being hugged. And for some reason, Iris has a pigeon nuzzling her.
Actually, the reason is that Pippi couldn't find a kitten on short notice, so she made due.
