Back at Shadowcrest
Sindella couldn't sleep.
Lately, it seemed as if the voices in her head were getting louder. And she couldn't shut them off.
So, she did what she always did. She made her way to the library to find a book that she hadn't read yet. But when she got there, the light was already on.
More importantly, the light was on in the section that her mother had told her that she was NEVER allowed to set foot in.
She made her way over the restricted section, slowly.
"Zach? Mom...Mom said we weren't allowed in here."
Something was wrong with her cousin. He looked..distraught.
