Zach's jacket is thrown over a chair, and his tie is discarded as well. There are sheafs of note paper scattered around, as he goes over various books.
"You're not allowed in here. I'm an adult. Shadowcrest is as much mine as it is your mother's."
'Your mother' is about as impersonal as Zach has ever referred to his cousin, usually favoring 'Zanna' or just 'Zee'.
